Gilda's Club Memphis will hold a charter ceremony at 10:30 am Thursday, October 25, at the First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center at Shelby Farms Park. The event will be the start of an all-day open house which will be free and open to everyone.

The remainder of the day will feature a "Cooking for Wellness" workshop at 1 pm, a Caring Art Workshop at 2 pm as well as a Restorative Yoga at 3 pm. The day will conclude with cocktails and conversation at 6 pm.

Gilda's Club is a place where those affected by cancer and their families and friends can come to be supported, encouraged, and understood. It is a "welcoming community of support when cancer places individuals into a group they never expected or wanted to belong to."
