West Cancer Center marked the Grand Opening of its East Campus facility with a November ribbon cutting ceremony.
The 123,000-square-foot facility at 7945 Wolf River Blvd. combines many of West’s physicians and researchers all under one roof. For the first time, patients now have access to multispecialty services, including medical, surgical, diagnostic and radiation oncology, in addition to West’s clinical research program, at one location.
Hospital officials said new facility is a tangible result of an innovative partnership between Methodist Healthcare, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and West Clinic, which came together in January 2012 to form West Cancer Center.
