Bobby Meadows, executive director of Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab (MJHR),has been awarded the 2016 Young Executive Award by the Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS) during its annual conference in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The award is given to honor a young executive (administrator, associate or assistant director, housing manager) who has demonstrated significant potential in the field of healthcare management by virtue of his or her cumulative achievements or innovative results in management or administration. To be considered a person must have held an administrative position for at least five years, is under 45 years of age, has exhibited leadership through recognized innovative cumulative achievements, and has been involved with AJAS.
The award was presented by Joel Ashner, community relations director of MJHR.
Meadows, who began his nursing home career as a CNA, spent 11 years leading for-profit nursing homes before coming to MJHR in April 2013.
