Paul Brezina MD, who joined Fertility Associates of Memphis in 2012, has been named a full partner with the group.
Brezina completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. His Fellowship training emphasized genetic testing and evaluation as it relates to reproductive medicine. Prior to this, Brezina graduated from the University of North Carolina, and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina.
Brezina formulates individualized treatment plans that address “the whole patient” including nutrition and stress management in conjunction with cutting edge fertility therapies. He also serves as the Director of Reproductive Genetics at Fertility Associates of Memphis. As such, he oversees preimplantation genetic testing, which has the capability of reducing certain inherited disorders. He also coordinates the noninvasive prenatal screening, which allows pregnant women at 9 weeks gestation to determine major abnormalities in their pregnancy.
He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he enjoys lecturing and teaching residents during their rotation through our Memphis office.
