Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis recorded a milestone by completing 300 minimally invasive spine surgeries using Mazor Robotics Renaissance™ Guidance System. A hospital spokesperson said Saint Francis was the first hospital in Tennessee to offer the Mazor Robotic spine procedures starting in July 2013 and remains the only hospital in Tennessee with this technology.
Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance guidance system has been used to perform thousands of procedures for a wide variety of spinal conditions, including scoliosis degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, and other complex spinal deformity cases. Mazor is an innovative technology that allows surgeons to perform highly-accurate, state-of-the-art guided spinal surgery procedures that can improve patient outcomes and speed recovery.
