Dana Dye, the first registered nurse to serve as CEO of Baptist's flagship and the largest hospital in Memphis retired May 29. Dye left Renown Health -- the largest health care network in Nevada to become chief nursing officer for Baptist Memphis in 2007. Most recently she led the hospital's historic response to COVID-19.

Brad Parsons

Brad Parsons, former CEO and administrator of NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital and NEA Baptist Clinic, immediately began serving as CEO and administrator of Baptist Memphis.

He previously served as administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City after starting with Baptist as an assistant administrator at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in 2008. Parsons holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Birmingham Southern College and master's degrees in hospital administration and business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Samuel Pieh

Samuel Pieh, who was hired in February, will join Parsons as chief operating officer for the hospital. Pieh, who was most recently vice president of operations for Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia, previously worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton as director of rehabilitation from 2006 to 2009. He was chief operating officer at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis from 2016 to 2018 and DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, a 158-bed community teaching hospital in Detroit, Michigan, from 2015 to 2016. He was also the director of vascular service lines and rehabilitation at St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett from 2012 to 2015.

Dr. Ashley Harris, the former chief medical officer at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, was hired as Baptist Memphis' new associate chief medical officer. He will join the other members of Baptist Memphis' leadership team, which include Cyndi Pittman, chief financial officer, Catherine Luchsinger, chief nursing officer, Dr. Bill Cloud, chief medical officer, and Craig Earley, associate administrator.
