The 2026 Methodist Healthcare Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 20 at the Peabody Hotel.
We welcome this year's keynote speaker, Laila Ali, boxing world champion, author, television host, entrepreneur and longtime advocate for health and wellness.
The youngest daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, Laila's career in the ring encompassed a perfect 24-0 record and five world championship titles, culminating in her induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Since hanging up the gloves, Laila has become an equally fierce health and wellness advocate, serving as an ambassador for the American Heart Association and raising awareness about cardiovascular health and lifestyle choices that help prevent heart disease, one of the foremost community health priorities in the Greater Mid-South.
Laila has also brought her passion for healthy living into the kitchen. A self-taught home cook since childhood, she is the author of the bestselling cookbook Food for Life: Delicious & Healthy Comfort Food from My Table to Yours! and is a two-time winner of the Food Network's Chopped celebrity competition.
Proceeds benefit the faith-based, healing mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Methodist Cardiovascular Care.
