Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett and Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis have been honored with “A” Hospital Safety Scores by The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital industry watchdog.
The two hospitals were the only ones in the Memphis area to receive an “A” grade. A total of 24 hospitals in Tennessee received an “A” grade.
Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis was recognized as a “Straight A” hospital for being one of 98 hospitals nationwide to have achieved an “A” grade in every grading period since 2012. Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett received its fifth consecutive “A” grade.
The Hospital Safety Score was calculated under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts on patient safety and is administered by The Leapfrog Group. The Hospital Safety Score is designed to provide consumers with information they need when making decisions about a hospital stay.
