Humana Medicare Advantage members in Memphis now have access to Methodist Healthcare following an agreement between the health system and Humana Inc.

The new network agreement, which took effect this year, includes Humana Medicare Advantage members.

“We are excited to welcome Humana’s Medicare Advantage members to our Methodist Family and look forward to delivering care to help patients live healthier lives,” said Michael Ugwueke, president and CEO, Methodist Healthcare.

The coverage includes all Methodist Healthcare adult hospitals.

“Our new agreement provides our Medicare Advantage members in Memphis with access to Methodist Healthcare’s network of respected health care providers and facilities,” said Doug Haaland, regional president at Humana.

“Expanding our network to include Methodist Healthcare offers our Medicare Advantage members a strong provider network and is key to our continued growth in the market.”
