The American Cancer Society has promoted Tracy Trotter to senior manager of community development for the Memphis market. She will oversee community development and engagement initiatives, including the Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign, volunteer engagement and community involvement.
Trotter first joined the Society in 2014 as community manager for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. While in this role, she raised more than $1.5 million through community and corporate fundraising efforts. In addition to fundraising, Trotter recruited, cultivated and managed relationships with hundreds of volunteers.
Prior to joining the American Cancer Society, Trotter served on the board of directors for several local non-profit organizations and created Swing for the Cure, an annual ladies’ tennis event that helped to raise funds to fight breast cancer in Memphis.
Trotter received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Mississippi.
