OrthoSouth held its inaugural Spine Symposium on April 16, 2026, at the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center on the University of Memphis campus.
More than 80 people attended the educational conference, which featured keynote speaker Pierce Nunley, MD from the Louisiana Spine Institute, and OrthoSouth physicians Raul Cardenas, MD, FAANS; John J. Eager, MD; Spencer Hauser, MD; Judith Lee-Sigler, MD; Sam Schroerlucke, MD; Jonathan Stuart, MD; Stephen Waggoner, MD; and Jason Weaver, MD, FAANS.
Topics ranged from Advanced Imaging Capabilities in Spine Care, AI-Enabled Planning and 3-D Printed Spine Implants, and Emerging Trends in Regenerative Therapies for Lower Back Pain, to an engaging panel discussion regarding surgical versus non-surgical pathways for patients.
Next year’s event will be held in April 2027, with details to be released later this summer.
