Greg L. Thompson, MD, has been named president of Memphis-based LifeLinc Corporation, which manages anesthesia practices in 10 states under the LifeLinc Anesthesia banner.

Thompson, a board-certified anesthesiologist with more than two decades of practice, has extensive experience working with both clinicians and healthcare administrators. His previous leadership roles include serving as both president and chief of staff for Methodist Healthcare.

Thompson graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He received a lifetime certification from the American Board of Anesthesiologists in 1994 and holds medical licenses in Mississippi and Tennessee. He is a member of the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society, The American Society of Regional Anesthesia, Tennessee Medical Association, Tennessee Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Mississippi Medical Association, and Mississippi Society of Anesthesiologists.
