Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto and Stern Cardiovascular Foundation will host a cardiac and stroke symposium titled, “Making Waves in Cardiology and Stroke Care” from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 29.
The event will be held in the conference rooms near the North Entrance of Baptist DeSoto.
Experts from Stern Cardiovascular, Memphis Lung Physicians and Semmes Murphey will discuss the latest medications and treatments, lifesaving measures and interventions for valvular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and stroke. Additional topics include the indications and use for novel therapies to treat dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, stroke, pulmonary embolism and coronary artery disease.
