University Clinical Health (UCH) has launched a rheumatology practice, the 16th area of practice it offers.
Physicians specialize in complex autoimmune diseases including arthritis and lupus, and a wide spectrum of Rheumatic conditions that result in joint pain, bone pain, musculoskeletal disorders, organ system dysfunction and other unique symptoms.
Rheumatology services include, but are not limited to, the evaluation and management of rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and dermatomyositis, psoriatic arthritis and osteoporosis. UCH Rheumatology also treats: bursitis, tendinitis and rheumatic syndromes; carpal tunnel syndrome, gout, lupus, myositis inflammatory muscle disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, spondyloarthropathies, systemic lupus erythematosus, tendinitis and vasculitis.
UCH is a not-for-profit clinical practice organization with more than 130 physicians who serve on the faculty for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and work in hospitals, clinics and private practices throughout the Memphis area.
Last month UCH acquired Podiatry Centers of Memphis, bringing a podiatry practice under the University Clinical Health multi-specialty clinical practice organization.
The two doctors within Podiatry Centers of Memphis - Dr. Brian Kiel and Dr. David Moinester - each bring more than 30 years of experience in podiatry to the Memphis area.
